Comprehensive eye exams are an important part of this care. Even if you have perfect vision and don’t think that you have any problems with your eyes, it’s important to visit your eye care professional annually for an eye exam.
EARLY WARNING SIGNS
Many eye-related health issues have no noticeable early warning signs and can only be detected by a professional. Getting your eyes checked regularly allows your optometrist the opportunity to catch ocular health and vision issues early (often when they’re more easily treated)! And it keeps both you and your eye doctor on top of maintaining your sight!

Pre-testing
Included with every eye examination is a
pre-testing component.

This pre-examination is performed prior to seeing the eye doctor by one of our professional optometrist assistants. Measurements of your cornea, intraocular pressure, visual acuity and images are captured with state of the art equipment, in preparation for your evaluation and visit with your optometrist. This is the beginning of your complete comprehensive eye wellness examination at Prairie Eye Care.
