Myopia (Nearsightedness)

Myopia, more commonly known as nearsightedness, is a very common eye condition. Children with myopia tend to see blur in the distance and the progression of myopia can lead to increased risk of certain eye conditions.

In 2000 approximately 23% of the world's population was nearsighted. It is projected that by 2050 approximately 1 out of 2 people (50%) will be nearsighted.

Is there a cure for myopia?
