Rooted in Community. Guided by Your Vision.

From day one, we’ve cared for families across Winnipeg’s neighbourhoods with an approach that prioritizes access, relationships, and trust. Whether we’re visiting a local classroom, supporting underserved patients, or helping a child get their first pair of glasses, our outreach reflects who we are: a practice built around people, not just prescriptions.

We’re more than just eye doctors in Winnipeg. We’re part of the communities we serve.

Access for All Ages, Backgrounds, and Stories

Our four clinics support many communities, from new parents and busy professionals to newcomers and seniors. We often care for three generations within the same family, providing family eye care that evolves over time. And because we work with dozens of language groups, we’re intentional about making care feel welcoming and respectful to everyone, especially those who may have faced barriers to health access in the past.

Our Winnipeg optometrists are multilingual, trauma-informed, and trained to provide care that meets each patient where they are, not where we expect them to be.

In the Community, Not Just the Clinic

Some of our outreach efforts include:

  • Partnering with local pediatricians and family doctors to identify children in need of early pediatric vision tests.
  • Offering education to teachers and parents about the signs of vision problems and when to book a children’s eye exam.
  • Supporting newcomers and low-income families with inclusive programs and access to glasses for kids.
  • Volunteering at school events and youth health fairs.
  • Helping families access contact lenses for kids in Winnipeg through safe, age-appropriate fitting services.
  • Collaborating with cultural organizations to close gaps in local vision care access.

Kids Come First

We believe healthy vision is essential for a child’s growth, learning, and self-esteem. That’s why pediatric outreach is a key part of our community work, especially in areas where kids may not receive regular children’s eye exams. Our optometrists create safe, welcoming experiences for kids of all ages, and we focus on long-term care strategies that include everything from routine screenings to early myopia control support.

From fittings for children’s glasses to referrals for classroom accommodations, we’re here to help families feel informed and supported.

How You Can Help Us Reach More People

We’re always open to partnerships with schools, community groups, and health programs that want to expand access to vision care. If you're a teacher, parent, coach, or community organizer and you see a gap, reach out. Many of our best initiatives started with a conversation.

Let’s work together to ensure every child has a chance to see clearly and thrive.

Vision Care with Heart, For Every Neighbourhood

Community care isn’t a side project—it’s part of how we practice every day. If you’re looking for a vision partner who understands Winnipeg’s diverse communities and delivers care with heart, we’d love to connect. Let’s keep growing what we’ve built, together.
